<image:title>Sarah bio - SARAH LORD, LMT</image:title>
<image:caption>Sarah has had several injuries throughout her life and has found relief through massage. She recognized the value that massage brought as a therapeutic option, and decided to pursue the education. Sarah’s current clientele is very diverse; her work has benefits for many conditions including auto immune diseases, pre-and post-surgical procedures, chronic migraine, sinus congestion and many issues related to special needs individuals. In addition to her more nuanced modalities of Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) & Craniosacral Therapy (CT) for the conditions previously mentioned, Sarah is a great bodyworker, she can help you work on those issues that have been holding you back using a number of techniques/modalities that may include Trigger Point therapy, Stretching, Myofascial Release, etc. Sarah continually works to develop new skills in her professional practice by pursuing new education courses to better serve/help her clients. Most recently she obtained a Kinesiology Taping (RockTape) certification. Currently Sarah has been focusing on her practice of MLD & CT in combination to treat auto immune conditions, Fibromyalgia and sinus issues. In 2020 Covid-19 added a new twist to that work & she is anxious to see if her protocol translates to post Covid conditions such as “brain fog” and “long haulers syndrome”. She has gotten good preliminary results from the small selection of post Covid clients she has already treated & is looking forward to continuing this work as we begin to understand how the coronavirus affects the body in the long term.</image:caption>

<image:title>Mimi Bio - MIMI RAVNDAL, LMT</image:title>
<image:caption>Mimi has been practicing massage therapy since 2006. She graduated with a BA in Physical Education from FSU then continued her education at College of Natural Health in medical massage. Growing up competing with elite gymnasts and eventually leading a top national dance team, Mimi learned at an early age the importance of muscle movement, body awareness and body mechanics. She understands the wide spectrum of muscle movement and stress the body undergoes while training and the compounding factors that accompany an athletic way of life While she tailors each treatment to ensure the client’s needs are met, Mimi will also use the session as a chance to educate and help her clients to recognize and respect the connections throughout the body. Whether the treatment plan calls for separating tissue, creating space between muscles, “unsticking” fascia or nerves from impingement, Mimi will integrate multiple modalities including neuromuscular work, myo-mobilization/re-education, trigger point therapy, assisted stretching, myofascial work and, often difficult to find, intra-oral work, among others to accomplish relief and results. Not only is the treatment an education for the client, Mimi takes the time to learn about each client and their situation, optimizing results. Mimi’s work has evolved over the years and in addition to bodywork for conditions such as tennis/golfer’s elbow, shin splints, plantar fasciitis, etc. she began focusing more & more on TMJ disorder, a painful and disruptive condition that she herself suffered from for most of her life. For over 14 years she has worked and continues to work with many clients who suffer the energy draining, debilitating symptoms including headaches (“eye headaches”), little to no range of motion in the jaw, frozen or locked jaw positioning, painful popping/clicking of the jaw, grinding or clenching of the teeth and jaw at night or while concentrating and overall soreness, achiness or tired feeling around the jaw. Mimi has come to realize that the protocol of specialized spot and intraoral soft tissue treatments that she has been developing can achieve noticeable differences in pain relief and range of motion for her TMJD clients. She is looking forward to continuing her work with TMJD clients and hopes to help more people find relief from this frustrating disorder.</image:caption>

<image:title>Team 3 - ROBBIE RIVERA, LMT</image:title>
<image:caption>Robbie is here to get you moving! Throughout his life, Robbie had many opportunities in various fields; bag boy then a baker at Publix, Extreme Pogo athlete, stilt walker, rigger, construction worker, server, wood worker and several odd jobs in between. He became familiar with all sorts of movements and the physical consequences that follow having ruptured a disc in his spine, tore a neck muscle, broke ribs & fingers, had heart complications, head traumas, migraines, countless sprains and strains and through it all gained first-hand experience of how to manage those injuries and how to function properly afterwards. Due to his MANY past injuries, Robbie has a unique perspective in body rehabilitation. His work can be an essential part of any program to rehab an injury or just to maintain your performance at peak levels. In addition to his “everyday” clients, Robbie treats a wide variety of clientele including stuntmen, dancers, acrobats, gymnasts, Olympic sprinters, competitive weightlifters, MLB & NFL players. If you are not functioning how you need too, Robbie can help you to get your body working right. Robbie’s skill set is always growing and sharpening; he particularly loves Myofascial Release and Cupping Therapy in addition to the other modalities he relies on such as Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF stretching), Active Release Therapy, Deep Tissue, Graston Technique and muscle flushing.</image:caption>

<image:title>Team 4 - MILTON WIGGINS III, LMT</image:title>
<image:caption>Milton has always been fascinated in how to nurture, maintain and care for the human body. As an athlete, Certified personal trainer AND Licensed Massage Therapist he brings a unique perspective to his massage therapy work. He showed an early interest in sports as a youth and young adult including bodybuilding and sports nutrition. During his 11-year honorable, U.S. Air Force Career, he competed in bodybuilding shows, powerlifting shows and was a Physical Training Leader (PTL) in various assignments. His duties as a PTL (exercise and nutrition) foreshadowed his post military career as a Certified Personal Trainer. He enjoyed helping people meet their fitness goals whether they’re an average Joe/Jane or competing at a high level in an array of sports. Through his PT instructor he was introduced to the benefits of massage in sports and for general self-care. To enhance his PT business he decided to attend massage school. It was during his time at Cortiva Institute in Maitland, FL that he fell in love with massage therapy and various forms of bodywork. Massage became his passion as he began to understand the value it brought therapeutically to EVERYONE. He was most impressed with bodywork’s ability, overtime, to significantly lessen stress and tension, correct structural distortions, increase range of motion, and release painful muscle adhesions. Milton continues to build on what he’s learned since massage school, focusing on deep tissue/sports massage, myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy Muscle Activation Techniques (M.A.T.), and a variety of Assisted stretching modalities (active, passive and PNF). He has seen the results that can be achieved by using a combination of these techniques for clients with acute and chronic pain issues, limited range of motion, stress/tension, trauma and overuse.</image:caption>

<image:title>Alex Bio - Alex Brewer</image:title>
<image:caption>Alex is an active individual and has been all his life, from playing intramural sports in college to hiking in the great wilderness of Colorado, he knows the importance of keeping the body healthy. In addition to the physical stresses of life, Alex has also taken a deep interest in alleviating the mental stresses that can affect us everyday and works to reduce mental stress through meditation and spiritual advisory. The most important thing for Alex when working with a client is that they leave each session feeling progress has been made in their healing and they have a better knowledge and awareness of what is going on in their body. Client education is paramount for healing and Alex makes sure to explain the sometimes complex kinesiology behind what is going on in the body so that it is easy to digest and take home for added self-improvement. Alex graduated from Inspirit School of Healing Arts in Orlando, Florida where he practiced many modalities including Swedish and deep tissue to energy work and cupping. Alex’s main approach to bodywork is through targeted deep tissue and trigger point therapy resulting in a massage that clients describe as “hurts so good”. By taking a clinical and targeted approach in his bodywork, Alex is able to pinpoint the troublesome areas and relieve tension right where it’s needed. By providing a healing presence, Alex aims to provide his clients relief from the everyday stresses of our lives both mentally and physically allowing them to live a more fulfilling and happy life!</image:caption>

<image:title>Meegan Bio - MEEGAN DESCHENEAUX, LMT</image:title>
<image:caption>Meegan is a Certified Rolfer ™ and has been a Licensed Massage Therapist in Florida for over 7 years. She has a passion for guiding people towards increasing their connection to their bodies. She believes that communication, a desire for change, and the willingness to participate in your own healing journey are the foundation of an effective manual therapy or structural integration experience. Meegan has over 25 years of experience in movement education and fascial science; the first 15 years as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor in NYC. In 2009, her life changed when she was introduced to fascial science through Sue Hitzmann, the creator of The MELT Method®. She quickly became an advanced instructor and was selected to become a Master Trainer. As her career evolved Meegan was introduced to Rolfing® Structural Integration. Rolfing strives to align and balance the body’s components with the entire system in a smoothly functioning, coordinated whole. The approach was intriguing to her so she spent 7 months in Colorado at The Rolf Institute of Structural Integration® developing her skills and perfecting her approach. Meegan also has training in Manual Lymphatic Drainage, CranioSacral Therapy and Assisted Stretching. All are tools she can use during a session to help you meet your goals. When she’s not working Meegan enjoys lifting weights, bingeing TV shows, attending live music events and cuddling with her 2 cats</image:caption>
