Elliot Evans, LMT

Elliot Evans approaches manual therapy as an essential component of healthcare, functional movement, and human longevity. He looks past surface-level symptoms to isolate and resolve the structural and neurological bottlenecks that stall recovery, perpetuate chronic pain, and limit performance.

To deliver lasting outcomes, Elliot integrates three core pillars of care into his practice:

  • targeted orthopedic manual therapy to systematically resolve repetitive strain injuries (RSIs) and postural fatigue

  • certified Buteyko Method instruction to stabilize breathing mechanics, improve carbon dioxide tolerance, and down-regulate the nervous system

  • evidence-based Human Movement Science (BI-HMS) (also known as Kinesiology) protocols to build real-world structural stability.

Elliot’s specialized focus on the body’s autonomic regulation systems is deeply informed by his background in high-pressure disaster relief work with Capacity Path, a relief organization that supports a community's mental health needs after natural disasters. This experience provided him with a profound understanding of how severe chronic stress compromises the physical body, allowing him to expertly guide clients out of "stress mode" (sympathetic dominance) and back into a state of structural ease, efficiency, and resilience.

At Specialized Bodywork of Orlando, Elliot’s sessions are thoughtfully designed to mitigate the unique physical demands of high-performance environments. His clientele includes musicians managing performance strain, athletes and martial artists optimizing joint mobility as well as professionals navigating the toll that their technical and production careers are having on their posture and body mechanics.
